Ensemble
Sophie’s passion for music evolved from growing up learning the piano from age five. After gaining her Associate in Music, Australia at 16 years of age. Sophie went on to complete a Bachelor of Performing Arts at Monash University.
Most recently Sophie performed the role of Aunt Em and was part of the ensemble of The Wizard Of Oz (GFO) as well as undersudying both the Wicked Witch and Glinda the good witch.
Other stage credits include Beth in Merrily We Roll Along (Watch This), Georgie in The Full Monty (StageArt), The Sound Of Music understudying Baroness Schraeder and Sister Margaretta (GFO), Jan Brady in A Super Brady Cabaret (Stage Art), Dirty Rotten Scoundrels understudying Christine Colgate (James Anthony Productions) and Motherhood the Musical playing the role of Amy (HIT Productions).
Sophies on-screen credits include Neighbours and Thank God You’re Here. She was honoured to be a Rob Guest Semi- Finalist in 2015 and 2013.
Sophie is thrilled to be joining the company of School Of Rock and working with our new generation of budding rock stars.
