Swing / Assistant Dance Captain
Michaela graduated from the Victorian College of the Arts in 2014, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Music Theatre). During her time at the VCA, she performed the roles of ‘Ado Annie’ in Oklahoma! (directed by Gary Young), ‘Peggy Doyle’ in Summer Rain (directed by Nancye Hayes), ‘Sara Jane Moore’ in Assassins (directed by Sally Bourne) and ‘Maxine’ in the Australian premiere of A Little Touch of Chaos by James Millar and Peter Rutherford (directed by Iain Sinclair). She also took on the position of Dance Captain for Lil’ Abner (directed by Martin Croft) and was the recipient of the VCA Beleura John Tallis Award for Excellence.
Most recently, Michaela was a part of the Australian Company of Cameron Mackintosh’s acclaimed production of Les Misérables (directed by Laurence Connor and James Powell) as a Swing. She then went on to join the International Company, touring to countries such as the Philippines, Singapore and Dubai as Swing/Assistant Dance Captain.
