Ellis Dolan graduated from NIDA with a Diploma of Musical Theatre in 2017, during which he appeared as part of the Ensemble in Sydney Theatre Company’s CHIMERICA. He also toured across Australia, portraying the role of Peter Dutton, as part of Abbott: The Musical (George Glass Productions), performing as part of the Canberra Comedy Festival and Melbourne International Comedy Festival, as well as a sell-out run in the Adelaide Fringe.
Off-stage, Ellis has a Bachelor of Creative Arts: Creative Writing from Flinders University and made his directorial debut in the 2018 Adelaide Fringe Festival with the South Australian Premier of Edges (Irregular Productions). He also directed The After Party, a charity event to raise money for the Actor’s Benevolent Fund.
Ellis would like to thank his singing teachers, Rohan Powell and Anne-Maree McDonald, and (also) extends gratitude to Sione Teumohenga and Lachlan Clark for the wonderful years of band practice. Ellis Dolan is represented by Focus Talent Management.
